Bunn 13300.0001 VP17-1 SS Stainless Steel Pourover Coffee Brewer with 1 Lower Warmer - 120V

Got tired of the Disposable coffee makers about 10 years ago and bought a Bunn A10, that one is still going strong and is being passed on to my son. The VP17-1 is the A10's bigger brother. It's pretty large for home use but if you have 17" of clearance under your wall mounted cabinets this fits nicely. If you have less the 17" of clearance I would recommend the A10 since it's less expensive than a carpenter. Makes very good and hot coffee very fast and is a must have for the office or in the case of this retired truck driver for the home. Also saw a one star rating on here that was unjustified, this is a pour-over and does not need a ready light like the automatic Bunns do. When the coffee maker becomes silent it's ready to make the next pot.

Conveniently the product stopped working exactly after 1 year. When I reached out to Webstaurant they said i am covered under Bunn warranty and when i called Bunn they said it's not covered. I would have to pay service fees which would cost $ which is half the cost of the machine that i bought it for.

Great, high quality coffee maker at a pretty good price. You obviously pay a bit more for the Bunn name, but we've never had a problem with their products and continue to pay a bit more for the quality.

I just purchased the BUNN VP17-1 for my husband for Christmas this year 2013. After a very long process of research! And we r sooo very Happy with this beautiful machine!! Not only was it a great experience to buy from the webstaurant store but it was so great to finally have a coffee maker that works great and is from the USA! It is built like a tank and my husband and I r all about quality and it\'s great quality! The coffee is hot!! Webstaurant had the best price and great communication! I know to many it may seem like a lot of money to dish out but by the time u dish out for the cheap ones two or three times a year and r unhappy the whole time u own the cheap ones u could have purchased this one and have been happy and won\'t have to replace it three times a year! This is a great machine for people who don't need to make tons of coffee at a time. It's great for a small store or office because it can make and keep coffee warm while being easy to maintain.

Great coffee maker

I take my coffee seriously. I roast my own coffee beans. I’ve always used a Bunn home brewer to enjoy my pour over, but it never reached the level of flavor that the commercial pour overs achieved, in my opinion. I hoped that by purchasing this, my expectations would be met. The Bunn VP17-1 Stainless Steel Pourover Coffee Brewer did not disappoint. I use it at least once a day for coffee, and a couple times a week for fresh brewed tea. Coupled with the Bunn LPG grinder, and the Bunn stainless Steel grounds basket, I get consistent results every time. Very happy with this purchase. Seems like a very nice unit but I haven't been able to try it yet. no complaints about the brewer just the shipping. for some bizarre reason you have to order a decanter separately, which I did, but of course it shipped from a different location and won't be here for four days. the brewer shipped the next day but the decanter, stainless steel basket, funnel tip and filters didn't ship for four days, I'm very disappointed about that. why it doesn't come with a decanter defies reason, it's a critical component after all and the maker is useless without it, just throw a cheap one in and charge for it. at least you would be able to use it right away in case of shipping problems, then you will have a spare for emergencies. looks great on the counter though but still no coffee while I wait for the pot. ill update my review once I get to have some coffee. hopefully it will be worth the wait.

We have always seen these kinds of units in restaurants and have also had many cups of coffee from Waffle House from a Bunn machine. Decided to splurge and buy the VP17-1 in stainless steel for our home....one word....WOW! This machine really puts a traditional consumer coffee pot to shame! It's built like a tank and is beautiful sitting on top of your counter. The coffee coming out of this unit taste like no other! We feel like we are at a coffee shop or Waffle House every morning haha! Although a little pricey, it's worth every penny! I purchased this from Webstaurantstore in 2011 or 2012. This is absolutely an awesome coffee maker. We typically only make coffee on the weekends or holidays. I was tired of disposable coffee makers (regardless or price) that would typically die in about a year. They often made good coffee at the beginning but after several uses the coffee tasted bitter - I later figured out that because the coffee basket and water tank are beside each other, grinds often find their way into the tank and fester. Purchased this and discovered the water tank does not keep water hot enough to run two or more consecutive pots of coffee. You need to wait up to 15 minutes between pours. Would not purchase again. Tried to return and upgrade to model with 2 warmers, but no deal.

Bunn you have changed my life. Brews in a few minutes and as long as you put a good coffee in the basket, you'll get a perfect cup of HOT coffee. You'll never throw away another piece of plastic garbage. This machine, if it ever needs it, you can easily fix. You can't go wrong with Bunn.

This coffee maker was a welcome addition to our office kitchen. It is very easy to use and makes a pot of coffee in under 5 minutes.

What can you say about these that already hasn't been said? It is THE BEST coffee maker! We were tired of replacing moderately costly "regular" home coffee makers and decided to take the plunge. In a five year period we had bought two home coffee makers and they had both stopped working. I realized that I had pretty much spent what I would have on those two for one of these nice Bunn units. Plus, this thing is an absolute tank that will last forever! And if it does break down, I can easily find parts to replace at a reasonable price.

This is the second time we have purchased this machine because we love it so much (we needed another one for another location). Bunn is a great brand, and this is a reliable machine.

If you are like me and you can appreciate quality and durability then you found the right coffee maker. Looking at what is available at your typical store they are all just plastic crap. Even the most expensive ones. I wanted a coffee maker that would make good coffee and was built to last. At first I looked at the cheaper non commercial Bunn units. But still while they seemed better when I came across this i knew it was the one.

This is a nice coffee pot. I've used it many times and it brews great drip coffee. I have no complaints about it and would recommend it.
