Customer Q&A Ask a Question

Why does the blade on this paper cutter not seem very sharp?
This product has an exposed, spring loaded blade that can’t be too sharp for safety reasons. A good, swift motion will provide you with a very clean cut. Remember, these are not the same as office paper cutters, as they are designed for butcher paper.
What's the difference between a paper cutter that has a straight edge blade and one that has a serrated blade?
While both types of paper cutters are useful and provide clean cuts, there are a few differences. A straight edge blade has a duller edge, making it safer to use. However, serrated blades cut into the paper when tearing, making it faster and easier to cut your desired length of paper. Serrated blades also work well with cutting film and foil, while straight blades are only designed for cutting paper.

Bulman A500, A501, A502, A503 Paper Cutter Assembly

Set up your Bulman A500 quickly with these easy-to-follow steps! Once the cutter and paper is in place, you can begin expertly cutting the desired amount of paper.

After removing the cutter, dowel, and rubber bumpers from the box, you need to open up the legs of the A500. If you're not going to mount the unit onto a wall, under the counter, or on the counter, then place the rubber bumpers into the holes on the bottom of the cross bars. Place the unit on the counter and firmly open the blade arms by pulling on the blade. Place the dowel into the core plugs. Slide the towel through the paper and out the other core plug. Lift the paper up to the unit and place the ends of the dowel into the dowel sockets. The paper will drop into the unit. Snap the cutter bar back into place against the paper. Pull out the desired amount of paper and quickly tear against the blade.

Wonderful product. My wife uses large heavy rolls of newsprint to make patterns and we finally found something that holds the roll and cuts it off. Easy to use and can't beat the price or quick delivery time.

This Bulman 36" paper cutter and dispenser is a life saver. We always cover our prep tables with butcher paper to protect this. This cutter and dispenser allows us to do it with easy. It is now a 1 person job! One caution, a full roll of paper on this dispenser can be pretty heavy so just be careful. Dig & Serve is A Speakeasy Underground Supper Club in Albuquerque, NM. Great way to make dispensing our white paper rolls a breeze. It is a bit on the flimsy side for a 900' roll, but for the price, it is perfect!

This product works really good, it is heavy enough to hold the paper roll when cutting. Easy assembled, moveable, changeable, foldable, easy to take care of.
