Details
Be prepared for unexpected fires with this Buckeye 150 lb. standard dry pressure transfer fire extinguisher! This is an excellent choice when it comes to providing specialized protection against flammable liquid fires on ship docks, refineries, remote construction sites, large laboratories, and much more! With a UL rating of 240-B:C, it's designed for performance against Class B and Class C fires, handling everything from flammable liquid and gas hazards to electrical fires. Its operable temperature range of -65 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit makes it effective in a variety of climates, while its discharge range of 30' to 40' allows you to safely fight fires from a distance.
This extinguisher features a polyester epoxy powder coated steel cylinder paired with an anodized all-metal valve assembly for a product that is not only lightweight, but also extremely durable and corrosion-resistant. In a pressure transfer unit, the nitrogen cylinder and agent cylinder are separate from each other allowing a spent nitrogen cylinder to be quickly and easily replaced. Another advantage is that the agent cylinder does not have to be depressurized when replacing the agent. The pressure transfer extinguisher reaches its pressure peak upon initial activation and decreases as the discharge process unfolds
Intuitive instructions with images are printed in English, French, and Spanish on the side of this item to ensure proper function when in use. For easy transportation, this unit sits on a wheeled cart that not only can fit through doors, but also travels on rough, uneven terrain and is designed for one man operation. This unit features rubber tires.
