It costs a pretty penny, that's for sure. However, it works wonderfully. Sturdy, built well, and the wheels make moving the unit around your space very easy This model slices in two thickness settings; one half of the unit slices in 1/2 inch, the other half slices in 11/16th inches. It slices both my artisan style breads and sandwich loaves beautifully.
