I have to say I was skeptical about a marker that didn't just want to be called "black" but "Tuxedo Black" - but this marker is quite dark. But this marker does actually seem a bit darker than my standard black Sharpies. And I love that it is retractable so you don't have to keep track of the lid or worry about it drying out.
