The Beverage-Air SPE27HC-C-B Elite Series 27" 1 door cutting top sandwich / salad prep table is designed to keep your freshest toppings and ingredients close at hand at food-safe holding temperatures. Boasting a 17" deep removable polyethylene cutting board, this table maximizes prep space, making it perfect for building your signature pizzas, subs, and salads. The top rail holds (8) 1/6 size food pans (included), and it comes with heavy-duty pan supports to ensure that they remain securely in place to prevent food spillage. For additional refrigerated storage space, two epoxy-coated wire shelves are included for the cabinet.
The table's high-capacity refrigeration system with 1/10 hp compressor runs on eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. To ensure temperature retention and optimal energy efficiency, the cabinet features CFC- and HCFC-free foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. The top rail lid is also insulated, so your ingredients can remain fresh when the table is not in use.
Built for heavy commercial use, this unit features a stainless steel front, sides, top, and door. Its interior liner is made of aluminum for exceptional corrosion resistance and protection against rust. Four heavy-duty 6" casters (2 locking) are also included for easy mobility throughout your facility. A 115V electrical connection is required for operation.

Purchased in 2022. Stopped holding temp in 2025 within 3 year warranty period. Beverage AIr sent out their warranty service team to service. They took a look, said everything was fine and did not repair unit. When followed up with Beverage-Air they said it was out of warranty and could not service.

We ordered Beverage-Air SPE27HC-B Elite Series 27" 1 Door Refrigerated Sandwich Prep Table for our breakfast/lunch café. This is the unit that we work out of all day – holds all our sandwich ingredients and allows us to easily access them. The unit holds temperature well.
This is a great unit. Hard to beat at this price point. Keeps food consistently very cold all day. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase.
This is a decent unit although the first couple months it made a loud noise when compressor would turn on and the right side on top is warped and makes it difficult to place the sixth pans in. I do like the outside thermometer and it seems to hold temp well. I would give it a three star on a five star choice or a 2 1/2 on a four I guess.

On my personal experience as a restaurant operator, owner and consultant i had always been really satisfied with all the beverage air product, this model is really useful because it's size (even tough its small) it can be placed in small areas and still store a consider amount of product, perfect for those small kitchens but high paced service,
The smaller coolers are still great for storage and prep. We use these for our salad station. Keeps items cold, and is easy to use and clean.
This item is used in our kitchen for the cold side food prep. It keeps the food items cold as well as provides easy access to the food items and easy storage. The wheels allow the table to be moved and placed where we would like in the kitchen. We would recommend this item.
I will be purchasing beverage air products from now on. Love the front breathing feature. Equipment can be put snuggly side by side with out having to worry if they are ventilating properly. Just a really well made product.

Perfect for ice cream toppings. Door closes easily. Don't have to worry about anyone leaving it open. Top lid did not fit exactly right at first.
