Avantco BVAC-36HC 36" Black Refrigerated Air Curtain Merchandiser

Thing is junk we had it for 4 years and have had it fixed and repaired multiple times, now finally told today that we need to get a new one cause there are holes all over the coils and its just not worth fixing it.

Avantco is the worst company. This fridge stopped working after one year of service.

Very dissapointed with this product. Broke down within the first two months of operating. After reaching out to the warranty company, they said turnaround time to get someone to our shop to fix the equipment will be two weeks.

This fridge is used everyday at our coffee shop. For saying that it is a pretty good fridge. My only complaint is that if its a warm day out and you don’t have the plastic screen down the items inside will begain to get warm. If its a very hot day and the plastic screen in down it still has a hard time staying cold. In saying this I will say that we keep are shop pretty open and fresh air is always coming through so that could be the problem. For how much this is, it does a pretty good job.

The Avantco WVAC-28HC 28” is amazing was delivered fast and the packaging was very safe. This item is the best deal for this price and I compared a lot ,and I m very happy to decided to buy this.

Worst purchase ever! We've had nothing but problems with it LEAKING EVERYWHERE! No wonder they discontinued it. We've literally spent extra trying to keep this around. Too bad neither the manufacturer or Webstaurant would help us out and replace it. This all started before the warranty was up.

This unit has been nothing but trouble. We’ve owned it for just four years and have already had it repaired multiple times. Today, we were informed that the operating circuit is not working and need to order from china that it’s no longer worth repairing. We’re now being told we must replace it entirely.

Product worked fairly well a couple years. Now, less than 3 years in and several visits from local repairman, it is useless. Like another reviewer, I have a large unit sitting empty in my store. How to file warranty claim for compressor?

I purchased this Refrigerator last month, it worked for less than a week before it started to make loud rattling noises and stoped cooling altogether where the temperature registered 71, the only course of action available to me was to fill a claim with the warranty company that took it's time to act on my claim, they sent a technician who made the desicion that the compressor was faulty... that was almost a week ago, I'm still waiting for the replacement compressor to be sent to the technician who in turn would try and make it on his own good time to fix the problem, Meanwhile, I'm left with a broken unit that is occupying a big space, and have to suffer loss of business, and put up with all the inconvenience. Its not worth buying. It broke down like more than 4 to 5 times in a year.. not worth..

We purchased this item on October 2022. It broke down on June 2023 and we contacted Webstaurantstore immediately then they sent us a replacement. But yesterday on 7/9/2024 that one broke down too. Be aware of this brand doesn't have a piece of quality. Do not recommend this brand to anyone else!!!
