This Avantco 178GSKT19991 vinyl bottom gasket replaces the one that came with your Avantco cooler. The gasket is a vital part of your unit's drawer assembly, locking in cold air so that the refrigeration system only runs when it needs to. As the gasket ages, it may lose its seal or develop cuts and tears that allow cold air to escape, and over time this may force the refrigeration system to run more frequently to maintain temperatures.
