Use this Avantco 178GSKT16501 door gasket as a direct replacement for the original part that came with your unit. The gasket is an important part of your unit, creating a tight seal between the door and the interior. A torn gasket can limit your unit's ability to lock in cold air, which in turn forces the refrigeration system to work harder to maintain specifications. Be sure to fix a broken one promptly. It is compatible with GDC-40-HC merchandiser refrigerators (sold separately).
