I bought these to use with my cake boards and quartz turn-table, as my cake boards would slip across the smooth surface; with tthe use of these non-slip pads, I can now pipe icing without worrying about my cake sliding across the table if I accidentally nudge it. These pads are made of the same material as what you might find for cabinet liners. They do have a bit of a chemical manufactering odor, so one would need to give them some air if one finds it bothersome. They do come folded in the package, as pictured, but this does not impact usage.

I bought several of them to use on cake turntables. They’re basic nonslip material, but are not 12”. The one so got were way to big for my 12” turntable and touched the table over the sides. We had to trim them just to make them work.

This pad is well made for helping stable my cake on my cake stand. I use it all the time. It's very easy to clean and store. The price for 2 is very reasonable too.
I don't love the way these look - They can be trimmed to fit underneath a cake board. Cleans easily and dries very fast so changing cakes is a breeze.

I don't use this item all too much but when I do it is extremely helpful with keeping things in place from the material it is made from. If you like to cake decorate and have a turn table for cakes pick one of these up as well as they will keep your cakes from moving as you are working.
