This snowflake cutter is absolutely gorgeous. It's somewhat intricate yet heavy duty, so I don't worry it will fall apart. The cookies work great on cakes. Because it's so large and complex, I recommend rolling your dough on a silpat or parchment paper that you'll put directly onto your baking sheet and removing the excess bits. This way, you don't risk misshapen get or breaking the cookie as you would if you were to try to transfer the raw cookie shape onto your pan.
