This Ateco 13956 6 small wheel pastry cutter is constructed of stainless steel, making it extremely durable and resistant to rust. A real time saver, this tool is great for cutting pastry dough, or even pizza dough, and is sure to make precise, measured cuts every time. Its 6 wheels, each measuring 2 1/8" in diameter, are riveted on an expandable arm. When fully extended, there is approximately 5" of space between each wheel, while the distance is approximately 1/2" between each wheel when collapsed. For safety and precision, the cutting wheels can be locked into place by tightening the wingnut located in the center of the adjustable arm.

We use this dough cutter to consistently cut strips of dough for making rugelach. They are designed to hold the same distance between each cutter and stay that way while cutting.
I was pretty skeptical ordering this pastry cutter. I had asked a lot of bakers about how well they did work, with lots of different opinions: good, bad, waste of $$$.....I decided to order one anyway....i want precise cuts on my brownies! I ordered the best one available (everyone agreed the less expensive ones were useless). I LOVE IT! You have to work with it ---learn how to use it----but well worth the cost---time saver and my brownies look so nice!
We love this tool! Helps us mark brownies and large sheet cakes when slicing into small squares. No more rulers needed which was not accurate and took much more time.
A lot of places on the web sell cheap flimsy 6 wheel cutters, that rust the second you wash them, and say they are from Ateco. Happily, this is not the case here. These are the real deal. Heavy stainless steal, strong rivets, sharp wheels and good supports make for a high quality tool. When you size up and lock your wheels into place all 6 wheels lock into place. Unlike most other wheel cutters that only lock in 2 or 4 wheels leaving the rest to move around freely. Which is never a good thing when marking a sheet of desserts. I highly recommend these Ateco 6 small wheel pastry cutters. They are the best quality wheel cutters on the market today.
