If you are making food in bulk, this is a great tool to have in the kitchen. THIS IS NOT A VACUUM SEALING MACHINE. It does not remove any air from the bag, it merely seals it. It should be noted that the instructions are there for a reason! Sealing a bag that has any residue on it will result in a poor seal. Sealing a bag that is not flat or is crumpled will result in a poor seal. We leave plenty of room and always seal twice with a half inch or so in between to be safe. Our restaurant makes soup every day, so this machine gets a lot of use! This machine is heavy!! It is very easy to operate, and we have never had any issue, besides user error.

Generally, works great. Sometimes the seal not super even. And not really convenient that the sealing mechanism is that high from the table surface. You have to hold bag with to hands and be able to hit the SEAL button.
