Whole Artichoke Hearts 3 kg. Can - 6/Case

The artichoke hearts as pictured are delicious and perfect to cook with. I have no complaints and highly recommend them. I have bought these consistently over the past year and was surprised to receive a different name brand (Del-Destino) with my latest purchase. I did try them as I needed some for an immediate catering order. The Del-Destino artichokes are very hard and woody. They are not edible as is. When I reached out to Webstaurant I was pointed to the fine print in the picture that says name brands may change. Basically, what you see isn't always what you get. In an industry where flavor consistency is king, that is a huge problem for me. I need to know what I am getting at all times. I will be looking elsewhere from my artichoke hearts going forward.

Purchased a full case of these artichoke hearts and they taste like the metal cans that they are in. I do not recommend these at all.

Most of the hearts were in terrific condition. But a some were very discolored inside and a few still had some remnants of the inedible, fibrous part. So be sure to pick each one up individually to check before chopping. The discolored ones taste just fine and are safe to eat. They’re just not attractive. I used these in a casserole, so nobody noticed. I couldn’t the whole can immediately, so I thoroughly drained, quartered, and froze the rest. The texture gets a bit softer after freezing, but in most applications you’ll never notice. This giant can costs the same as one quart jar from a warehouse club. So even taking into account the unusable pieces, it’s the best deal you’ll probably ever get on artichoke hearts.

I do find the quality of these artichokes is inconsistent. Many times they contain some of the harder stem or outside part of the artichoke, which takes time to cut and pick out before using for service.

Same product as name-brand and foodservice brands, just at a lower price. We're happy with it!

excellent product and buy. prefer out of region of world in which they are native. use from everything to balsamic, or roast or make a dip. only takes a few seconds and may clean liver as well. medicine. roasted caramelized artichokes hearts with a few drops of balsamic. good stuff.

Very good quality artichoke hearts. Very convenient for making larger pasta and dip dishes. The size of the product was consistent and a very great value.

I love using these artichokes for all sorts of things like marinating or even grilling. they're firm and taste fresh so they save you tons of time from using fresh and having to clean everything and have so much waste. they're a real lifesaver.

Really wish the quartered were apart of the PLUS program, but they are not, decided to try the whole, they work great but it's a hassle to chop and manage, stopped using them until they elevate to PLUS

This brand makes the best Italian foods. These artichokes are delicious and fresh tasting. I put them in salads , pastas and more. Try out their peppers too.

No longer pay a fortune for name brands that do not come close to the flavor these artichoke hearts have. They are wonderful. The artichokes come packaged in a sturdy can and in a nice brine. The brine drains right off and the hearts are perfect for sautéing and mixing with our pastas.

normally artichoke hearts are really expensive so being able to buy such a large can at such a great price is great. these are also very large so they can be featured in a dish and not just made into dip. really great product.

Yum, you can't have enough of this product. Artichoke hearts are great in specialty dinner salads, pasta salads, on pizzas, on flatbreads, and even just right out of the can.

We only use these artichoke hearts as a pizza topping. They have a great taste. We were paying a lot more for jarred. You can't find a better price.

I use these in my green chile and artichoke soup. I gave up on using canned or jarred artichokes because usually I find a lot of tougher parts left behind with the heart but these were great blended up easily. You can save a lot of money going with these instead of frozen.

Artichoke Hearts - #10 Can. I love these. They are whole, but not at all woody like you usually find in bulk cans. Chopped they were good in pasta sauce and whole they were delicious marinaded.

These Del Destino Artichoke Hearts are great. We use them at the restaurant all the time and the price here on Webstaurant is pretty much unbeatable.

I can't tell you how much more convenient this is than peeling a ton of artichokes. These have a great delicate flavor, perfect for making artichoke dip.
