I was very excited to get these bins. They were the perfect size to store large quantities of flour, sugar, and grains. The description said they were stackable. However, after using these bins, I can confidently say they are not stackable. As soon as a second bin is placed on top, they pop open. I have to use duct tape to keep them closed. Sadly, I was too busy to return them within the allotted time, so I am stuck with them. If you have limited space for storage, I do NOT recommend these bins. Very disappointed.

No matter what anyone says, these are not airtight. They are affordable, but the covers break very quickly in the hinge area. If you are short on cash for your business, then these will do for about 1 to 2 years. If you can afford it, you can get a better option. As someone else said, they are not really stackable. The problem is that once you add weight to them, the covers bow.

These bins are among the most affordable dry storage containers on this site. I had been using 10-gallon buckets to store flour, but those could not fit an entire 50lb bag at once and were difficult to fill without making a mess. These new bins are much larger and easier to load. The lids don't fit as tightly as I would like, so if you have issues with pests, these might not be for you. However, storing and retrieving flour is much easier with this sort of bin, as you do not need a prying tool like you would for a bucket. These fit nicely on wire shelves and come with labels and color-coded tabs.
