- Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in cases where your unit is in stock and waiting to ship, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation. Built to keep up with demand in high volume locations, the APW Wyott HHPS-848 natural gas heavy duty 8 burner countertop 48" range / hot plate gives you the space and cooking power you need to prepare all of your specialty sauces, sides, and entrees! This countertop range features a stepped design, making it easier to reach pots and pans, while its 8 individually controlled 30,000 BTU burners provide precise temperature control. Each burner also has a low setting of only 5,000 BTU for simmering soups, stews, chili, and more.
This model's welded stainless and aluminized steel construction gives it superior durability, and its 4" legs and adjustable bullet feet allow you to match the height of your other countertop equipment for a clean presentation and easy use. Its heavy cast iron grates are removable for easy cleaning, and a slide-out crumb tray catches excess food debris.
