These burs are commonly created when the holes are punched through the metal of the pan. They should come off during the initial washing and seasoning process of the pan.
these nesting pans are great for pizza and cooking lots of other foods - chicken fingers, french fries, wings, etc. The super perforated holes allows for faster cooking times. The lips on the pans work great for getting food in and out of the oven easily. They take a while to ship out but worth the wait!
