Yes, this product satisfied my needs! If I hadn't ordered it along with the new control switch, the knob from the old control switch would have never fit, as there is a slight variation in the stem of the new control switch, even though it is the exact same part! So, just a precautionary piece of advice, order BOTH pieces even though you don't think that you will need it....because you will!
