I purchased 2 sets of mugs to replace my old etched freezer mugs. These are great and just the right size. The glass is good quality, for those who want lead glass,these are not lead glass. The mugs are not flat bottomed so they do hold water from the dish washer after they are washed.

these mugs are good for the price. given that they are the "value" brand, i'm willing to overlook the manufacturers defects (glass runs and dents, unlevel rims). what knocks this ordering experience down is the poor packaging from the manufacturer. i ordered 120 mugs and 15 were broken. this may not seem like a high number, but when i can't assume the mugs arrive unbroken and i have to go through every single one and repackage them and clean out all the broken glass, it's too many. webstaurant has been great about replacing the broken items so i've got no real problem with them. i don't know if it's against policy but i wouldn't mind if they went through these boxes before shipping them out and removing all the broken mugs and putting the good ones in something better for shipping. writing "FRAGILE" on the shipping boxes would be good too.
