We purchased three boards to use as menus in our restaurant. We were able to hang them in two different ways. They worked great. Lightweight but sturdy.

The product arrived with some minor damage on the frame but we decided to keep it anyway but it is essentially not functional was a chalk board. When you try to erase anything it doesn't completely erase and is still visible creating a messy look. I've tried vinegar and soapy water and other methods but it just will not erase. Kind of defeats the purpose of a chalk board.

Overall it is a good product, however some chalk products such as the markers does not wipe off cleanly. Otherwise very sturdy and has held up very well.

Excellent quality... we've had these blackboards for about a year now they've held up nicely no separating from the frame. We use the chalk markers to write our specials and they look fabulous on this black background. We use magic eraser to clean it back to its original black. Highly recommend

These chalk boards are entry level. They serve a purpose but do seem a bit outdated for most applications. The corners of them fell apart over time.
Remember not to use chalk markers. These are for dry chalk only. Chalk markers will leave shadow after you erase them. if you want to use chalk markers you need a real, slate, chalk board. Or a marker board. Basically you need plastic, metal, glass, something non-porous.
I am pleased with the quality of this chalkboard. The frame is a nice color and goes well with the other Pieces of furniture in the restaurant.

It's a bit hard to hang since the part you hook to the wall is a bit small, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine.. and it's even better if you don't change the menu too often (unlike us, haha). But otherwise, great product for the price.

LOVE the way these look. They are pretty well made and I really like that there are already hangers installed on them. My only complaint about them is they are so difficult to clean. So, try not to make mistakes. Also, the chalk is VERY light on it. If you want something brighter, you may want to look at chalk markers or something like that.
I finaly found a chalk board for my personal kitchen that was an exact match to my cabinetry. Couldn't beat the price either. I absolutely love it!
