Combining the age-old method of clay pot cooking with the more contemporary natural gas fuel, this oven is simple to use and yields tender, tastier results as all flavors and juices are preserved while cooking.

This open well method will also cook very rapidly without burning, as opposed to other closed cabinet style ovens. Constructed of durable stainless steel, the square drum protects the inside handcrafted clay pot and is designed to hold up to the wear and tear of frequent use. The clay pot will naturally experience splits and cracks over time and is easily repaired with the extra clay that comes with this unit. For more even heat distribution, this oven also comes with clay balls that can be used to ensure a fully even and consistent cooking space. When making naan it is essential to have a gaddi to place the dough directly onto the tandoor wall, and one is included with this oven so you can get started immediately.

As an alternative to baking inside of the oven, a tawa (hot plate) comes with the tandoor and can be used as well for making flatbreads or stir fries. Complete with 12 long skewers ready to be loaded up with chicken, vegetables, or fish, you will have all the tools necessary to start whipping up mouthwatering dishes! With 4 casters this unit is fully mobile and can be transferred from one area of your kitchen to another with ease. The front panel thermometer will give the interior temperature for precise cooking and the temperature knob adjusts the flame as necessary.
