Outset® QZ46 Details
Prepare delicious pizzas with beautiful, crispy crusts by using this Outset® QZ46 16 1/2" cordierite round pizza stone. Featuring a durable cordierite construction, this item is built for long-lasting use and maximum versatility, and feature unmatched thermal shock resistance. To ensure proper use, do not place a cold stone in a hot oven, and do not place cold food on the hot stone. To properly preheat your pizza stone, put the cold, completely dry stone in the cold oven or on a cold grill, and warm your grill or oven up to at least 500 degrees Fahrenheit. After the stone has preheated for an hour, transfer your pizza to the stone to be baked. The material is grill and oven safe up to 1450 degrees Fahrenheit, making it ideal for high-heat applications. The thick construction also ensures excellent temperature retention to promote nice, even cooking.
Use this stone to bake specialty pizzas with adventurous toppings for guests! After use, simply scrub the pizza stone with a small amount of water and a pizza stone cleaning brush, and then allow the stone to air dry completely before using it again. With an ample 16 1/2" diameter, this item is perfect for a wide variety of pizzas, strombolis, and breads.

I have used this only once so far, but I will use it over and over again to cook large pizzas. I am making my own pizzas for personal consumption at home. I wanted to make at least a 15" diameter pizza and this works well for me.
