The weight of this bag is heavier than I expected and the seal slides easily and holds well. Compared to ziplock, I would estimate this to be about twice as thick which prevents the stretching and tearing when adding warmer foods. This is for personal home use and I have used this many times to bag up ice, left over meals, dog treats that I can not get to seal again, craft supplies, and much more. As a size reference, this 2 gallon bag is plenty big enough to put an unopened PARTY SIZE bag of chips with room to spare. I do recommend this product and will purchase more when I use these up.

Very thick bags, if you are used to the name brand bags you will really get a sense of how much better the quality is of these bags. We use them for any long-term storage application, For flour or for frozen items. I have never had any freezer burner issues using these and storing brown sugar bags in these is a full-proof way to keep it from drying out.

Extremely DISAPPOINTED with these bags! They are supposed to be 4 ml thick but are much thinner than name brand Freezer bags that are 2.7 ml! . I would return them but am unable to leave house due to Coronavirus "Stay at Home."

Excellent quality freezer bags that are very large. We normally used Gallon Ziploc Bags until we came across these and they are great for freezer storage.

My wife and I make peanut brittle which is mostly ordered in quart bags and gallon jars. When we mailed a gallon of brittle, we had to use gallon freezer bags so we could properly pack the brittle to avoid breakage. The problem we ran into was the bags were a little too small and we had to break the brittle into little pieces to make it fit. To keep from making pinholes, the flat side of brittle needs to face the sides of the bags. It was a lot of work to arrange the brittle just right and we still got pinholes.
