We have no problems at all with using this bag for our candy boxes. Generally we place about 1-5 lbs. of candies into it. The avaerage is about 2 lbs. our boxes don't have sharp edges so we can't say if it will hold up to sharper items.

weve used these bags and the weight is superior. They are heavier than the .492 mil and thcker. They will hold 3 6" pies containers without any problem

I got to say that a little thicker on mil does help. I purchase 1/6 .46mil before (#433NHT001). This one give the same quality and consistent in size and room on the inside. For the price, I would pay a couple dollars more and get .59 Mil (433NHT001H) as it gives a little thicker BAG and a little more durable.
