A 1 1/2" diameter is a very popular size for modern new-style vacuum breakers, and it sports a new look that eliminates visible seams between the nut and connection piece below. This entire unit is to prevent backflow and back siphonage into potable water. Paired with the polished chrome-plated finish, the design is sure to complement modern restroom fixtures.
