Prime surfaces with this Zinsser stain blocker! This oil-base stain blocker primer prepares surfaces for paint without any lingering odor, making it great for indoor areas where people are present. It sticks to all surfaces and works with any topcoat. It blocks tough stains from water, smoke, and tannins on surfaces such as wood molding, trim, and spackled areas. It adheres to paneling, cabinets, and glossy paints, and it is great for hard-to-paint objects such as wicker, louvers, and picture frames. Plus, it works with all latex and oil-base architectural paints.
This primer features a non-yellowing white color to serve as a neutral base. It provides the strong adhesion and sealing power of traditional oil primers but dries flat and sands easily. It dries to the touch in only 30 minutes and can be recoated in only 2 hours with latex or oil-base paints. This primer has a practical coverage of approximately 9 to 12 sq. ft. per can. It has a VOC level of 350. Achieve a better-looking, longer-lasting topcoat with this reliable stain blocker!
