The middle section utilizes a horizontal exterior door mounted with a continuous piano hinge and two specialized brackets that allow it to open down at a 90-degree angle. When open, use the door as a standing desk for typing, writing, grading papers, and other duties. The inside of the compartment, which is split up into multiple areas, can hold up to 100 lb. and has a portal for cables. The larger area is ideal for computers, books, and personal belongings. A vertical divider and fixed shelf create two smaller sections for other scholastic materials. When you're finished, just close up the door and lock it with the included key.
