This white quinoa comes uncooked, so be sure to rinse it thoroughly under cold water before cooking to remove any powdery residue that may be present. To cook, use 2 parts of water or stock for every 1 part of quinoa. Combine the rinsed quinoa and water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Once it's boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot, allowing the quinoa to simmer for about 15 minutes. Once cooked, fluff the quinoa with a fork and enjoy! Packaged in an open bag in a box. They had to reship it once due to damage, likely the box got damaged and all the product spilled out. The bag should *at least* be sealed.

I'm not sure if this box of quinoa I received is bad or if the overall quality has changed. The grains are extremely dirty, and even after rinsing well, they cook to a brown (darker than usual) color. I had ordered the organic quinoa for a couple months because this cheaper variety was out of stock, and I never had an issue with it. Honestly, I may just continue to pay the extra $ and go back to the organic. Again, maybe this was just a bad box, but this stuff is too expensive to waste like that.
