Watts F111584 Details
This Watts 957-OSY-FS 2 1/2" reduced pressure zone assembly is designed to protect potable water systems from contamination in accordance with national plumbing codes. It features 2 1/2" flanged joint inlet and outlet connections, torsion spring check valves, resilient-seated gate valves with outside stem and yoke (OS&Y), test cocks, and a corrosion-resistant stainless steel bottom-mounted pressure relief valve. This assembly can be used with SentryPlus Alert (sold separately) to activate the flood sensor, which detects excessive water discharges from the relief valve.
This unit sports a type 304 stainless steel body and quick-access sleeve that are made to last. It also features a replaceable check disc rubber and groove couplings for easy installation and pipe alignment. Its compact design is 70% lighter than traditional designs and allows for small enclosures to be used. It's suitable for supply pressure up to 175 PSI with a temperature range of 33 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
