This Watts 405-RW 4" NRS gate valve is designed to start and stop fluid flow in your pipelines. This non-rising stem (NRS) type valve features an epoxy-coated cast iron body. It boasts a vulcanized encapsulated resilient wedge disc design that allows for positive seating and resistance against high differential pressure. It provides full port flow with low head loss, making it perfect for irrigation, potable water, water distribution service, feed lines, and sewage disposal facilities.

This unit comes boss-tapped and plugged, and it features 4" flanged joint inlet and outlet connections. It's operated by a handwheel or valve key and can be easily serviced without removing the valve from the line. While it's ideal for use in the fully open or closed position, it can also be used as a throttling valve. This valve has a maximum temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum pressure of 200 PSI.
