This Watts LFMMVM1-PEX 1" thermostatic mixing valve is designed to maintain and limit mixed hot water to a desired and selectable temperature. It features 1" PEX connections and is made of silicon alloy and bronze with a stainless steel disc and a copper thermostat assembly. The solid wax hydraulic principle thermostat assures the dependable mixing of hot and cold water. This valve also has an adjustment cap with a locking feature. It's a direct replacement for the one that came with select hot water source applications, and it's used to replace a worn or broken part.

This mixing valve has a double throttling design that controls both the hot and cold water supply to the mixed outlet. With its superior flow characteristics, it provides accurate temperature control with low pressure drop across the rated flow range. Plus, it incorporates integral inlet filter washers and check valves in the hot and cold water inlets, protecting against cross-flow. This mixing valve has a temperature out range of 80 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit with flow rates from 0.5 GPM to 20 GPM. The minimum supply pressure static is 20 PSI with a maximum pressure of 150 PSI. It has a hot inlet temperature range of 120 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit and a cold inlet temperature range of 33 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
