Not worth the money. Try them on many different brand-name pans and lids and always leaked. Probably OK if you’re not transporting liquids but if you’re transporting soups or anything like that they will leak. I contacted webstarauntstore.com and they contacted the manufacturer and the manufacturer doesn’t stand behind the product. If you need something like this order one first and see if they work for you

I thought these steam bands were expensive but decided to give them a trail. They were easy to use because they are made to fit round the full size steam pans. We always had trouble transporting our food without spilling. and for the first time, I had a no spill experience with these bands. I placed my pans in a food warmer with high temperatures and was afraid the bands would melt, but they did not. This is definitely a must have for those who need to transport their food from one place to another, or even from the kitchen to the dining area. I will be buying some more of these soon.

these pot bands are a necessity for mobile cooks; caterers and food truck operators. these create a nice seal and make spillage a non issue

These silicone bands are convenient and easy to apply. They form an airtight seal on the all types of lids, including metal lids on the Super Pan V.

Until recently we didn't even know these bands existed. What a life saver! We have a food truck and catering and travel with food all the time. No more "battle wrapping" with plastic wrap three times around. We usually put one layer of plastic wrap before applying the band and lid since our pans and lids aren't all in perfect shape anymore and a little dented. Occasionally we get some leakage but nothing too crazy.

The Vollrath Gray Silicone !/6 Size Steam Table Pan Band is easy to install and fits well on a 1/6 size pan. It is very durable and long lasting. I would purchase this again.
