Vollrath 79100 7 1/8" Stainless Steel Bain Marie Cover

I have bought cheap Stainless steel Bain Marie cover and after two days of using it as a cover for buffalo sauce dipping pot I have had a bad reaction, corrosion with buffalo sauce and black spots occurred on the cover it's flimsy, so I have had to throw away, and then I have bought Vollrath 79040 2 Qt. Stainless Steel Bain Marie cover it was amazing after using it for many times there were no sign of any reaction, corrosion or any black spots on the pot, it's like new I love it, I recommend it,

Pretty standard cover, heavier and more stable than most I've had which makes it a notch above the others in it's class. Vollrath is a great company.

Love all the Vollrath Stainless Steel products. It's a good, solid bain marie, and it has lasted us through a lot of use and abuse!

What can I say about the lid for the 2 qt pan, it matches perfect. We do like the Vollrath brand, cost more, but very durable.

We use these bain marie covers in a product we make to hold ice. The quality is superior to the less expensive items. Sometimes we have to value engineer, but in this case the difference in quality was so apparent, we splurged.

You can't beat stainless steel lids for your warming pots. I was surprised to find so many sizes available from Webstaurant Store. This lid is high quality and looks brand new after every washing.
