Create a convenient serving area with the Vollrath 39710 2-Series 60" black Affordable Portable hot food station with cafeteria breath guard. Made of 20-gauge carbon steel, the base is wrapped in black, scratch-resistant vinyl for a professional look and durable design. It's a sleek addition to any buffet, cafeteria, or other front-of-house area and even includes a cafeteria-style acrylic breath guard to protect against contamination.

For displaying and serving hot dishes, 4 food wells each fit a full size food pan (sold separately). Each well is also equipped with a 525W exposed heating element and an infinite control rotary knob to adjust the heat. High-density glass fiber insulation helps retain this heat for efficient holding. Plus, the countertops are made of 20 gauge stainless steel, making them durable enough for commercial use and easy to wipe down as needed.

For your utmost convenience, the station is set on casters to allow for mobility. These casters make the unit easy to store out of sight and roll out when needed. Plus, 2 of the casters include brakes, so the station doesn't move unintentionally when actively in use. An 8' long cord is included, and a 120V electrical connection is required.

What's the difference between open well and sealed well steam tables?
Open well tables can be used with spillage pans for moist heat holding, or without pans for dry heat holding of fried foods or other crispy items. This design allows the flexibility to have some of the wells using moist heat, and some of them using dry heat, at the same time. Open well tables do not have drains, so the spillage pans must be removed and emptied after service.

Sealed well tables do not need spillage pans; water is added directly to the well, and is emptied through a drain after service. However, sealed well tables should not be used for dry heat holding.

Do not buy this product!!! Vollrath used to be a top notch product because it was well built to last for years. Its lightweight. doesn't come with the front or rear trays that is pictured, and DOES NOT HOLD TEMPERATURE. I'm so disgusted with this purchase.
