Hello, I'm Jack McDonald of Nor-Lake, and today we're going to talk about bar equipment. Today's bars are rapidly expanding, especially with the growth of craft beers. In response to that, Nor-Lake has introduced the AdvantEdge bar equipment line. Let me talk a little about what's in our bar equipment line. First off, is we make a line of bottle coolers. What's a bottle cooler? A bottle cooler holds and stores beer and wine and miscellaneous drinks. They use a slide-top design, and they're mounted horizontally in the bar. We also offer a full line of back bars. A back bar refrigerator is located either behind the bar or beneath the front counter, and they're available with solid doors or glass doors. Our back bar features 4 different sizes, including a 59", 69", 79", and 95" model. Nor-Lake's back bars are built on the same frame of our direct-draw units and offer the enhancements of pilasters and clips, shelves, solid doors, glass doors, and fluorescent lighting. Now let's talk about Nor-Lake's direct draw line. What is a direct draw box? A direct draw box, also known as a keg box, holds and stores cold beer for immediate dispensing out of one of the towers. We offer 5 different sizes of direct draw products, including a small, single keg box, which is 24" wide, and then the same sizes as our back bar line: 59", 69", 79", and 95" model. Today, we're going to talk about our DD69, one of our most popular models of direct draw units. Let's take a look at the cabinets, first on the exterior. All of our direct draw models feature a stainless steel top and a black, stucco, steel finish. The cabinet features door handles, door locks, towers, faucets, and drains as standard features of the cabinet. Nor-Lake's direct draw line features an easy-to-remove drip tray for overflow beer, into the drain, which discharges out the back of the cabinet. Let's take a look at the inside of the cabinet, which is the heart of this unit. The first thing you'll notice is the evaporator housing on this cabinet. It's a fully flushed, mounted on the side evaporator system. With the air flows to the top of the cabinet returning back to the bottom. Many of our cabinets mount the evaporator inside the cabinet, which takes up valuable space. You'll also notice in the back here the manifold. The manifold is used to regulate the C02 to various kegs in the cabinet. This is a standard feature not offered by many of our competitors. An additional feature of this cabinet is the cooling of the towers. Have you ever gone to a bar and watched a bartender tap beer, and it's all foamy? And then he pours it over and he taps some more, and then eventually he actually fills up the beer? Many times that's because the beer is warm, or it has the wrong carbonation. So what do we do? We take the coldest air off the evaporator through this tube here. This tube is then placed up the column to the top of the column where it's attached here. So, we're blowing cold air all the way to the top of the tower. This cold air will keep the beer from foaming on that first pull. So, it reduces waste and it gives you a fresh beer to your customer each time. These are called columns, and these are called faucets. Each one of our cabinets comes standard with a single column, single faucet on a 3 1/2" base. Optional towers are available in dual and 3 faucet designs. For strength and durability, all of our direct draw units come standard with a stainless steel floor and stainless steel breakers. For our direct draw and back bar line, when they're used for event coolers, we provide an optional mobility kit, which is a structural, reinforced caster allowed to move cabinets that are heavily weighted with beer. All of the Nor-Lake bar equipment products come standard with a 3 year parts and labor warranty, with an additional 2 years on the compressor. All of these products are stocked at 1 of our 4 distribution centers in New York, Los Angeles, New Albany, Mississippi, and our headquarters in Hudson, Wisconsin.
