Hi, I am Chef Jeff White. I'm here today to show you the filter system of the PFA from Perfect Fry. First, what you'll do is you'll open the front door of the Perfect Fry. Inside, you'll reveal the filter system. First, you'll have a baffle system that goes up through the grease filter and then into a charcoal filter. And then from there, the air will be disseminated through the system out of the unit.

First, what you'll want to do is you'll want to remove the filter. So we just pull the latch. The filter cartridge and cage can be removed. Once removed, you'll see the charcoal filter and the grease filter. You'll remove the grease filter, and then you'll also remove your charcoal filter. Once removed, you can take the cage and actually put it through the dishwasher to clean it.

Then what you'll do is you'll remove your grease tray along with your baffle. This can be put through the dishwasher. The baffle can be removed, cleaned individually, and washed in the dishwasher. Then the actual grease tray can be put through the dishwasher as well. From there, what you'll do is you'll take all your cleaning solution, and wipe out all of the inside stainless steel inside the entire unit so that it's clean.

Once it's clean, then you can replace your filter system. It's recommended that you replace your filters once every two months, depending on the usage of the unit. Then you'll want to replace the grease tray. You'll take the grease tray, put it at a downward angle into the top, and slide it straight back into the unit so it sits down into the unit.

Then you'll take your filter cage and you will put in your charcoal filter. You'll notice on the charcoal filter, it has arrows. The arrows represent where the air flows through. So we'll want to put the arrows pointing down so that when we do replace the cartridge and the holder, it will actually pull the air through and then we'll replace our grease filter. So now when we replace the filters, the air is going to pull up through the filters. We'll put the filter into the top until it sits down, and then we'll just clip to hold it into place. And that's how you replace your filter system on the PFA.
