What's up, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of Out of the Box with Mytee Products. My name's Austin, and today we're going to be talking all about the new Mytee Dry GT. This is the latest version of our fan-favorite, super ergonomic, upholstery tool. Now with an all-metal casing for that next level of superior durability. Let's go ahead and check it out.

(00:26) Alright, guys. So I got the tool here with me. You can see that the tool is, like I said, made out of this metal black powder-coated aluminum alloy. We chose to use this to add that next level of durability while only adding an extra ounce of weight over the all-plastic version.

On the top of the tool. Here you can see this clear extraction window that's going to let you see what you're extracting like a clear plastic tool would, but it's now built into this metal body that can again, withstand a very demanding routine.

The tool is still built with comfort in mind though with this nice soft feel, comfortable grip on the top, and a nice ergonomic handle that's easy on the hands.

Now, you'll notice that there's no trigger anywhere on this tool. That trigger list design means that you aren't squeezing to clean. That feature helps to greatly reduce fatigue from cleaning sectional after sectional, and it can reduce symptoms like carpal tunnel as well.

You'll also notice that the tool is a little bit shorter than other similar styles of tools. This is to reduce the amount of leverage that you need to keep the tool flush, which is again going to reduce the amount of strain that's on your wrist.

In lieu of a trigger, we have this control valve here. This helps you control the solution rate of the tool so I can adjust it for different soil levels, and fabric types. I can stop the flow completely if I need to, and I can dial it in to match the PSI of my machine. This is compatible with both portables and truck mounts alike.

Now you can see underneath we've got the four-inch dual glide with the spray bar right in the middle. Now the spray bar configuration creates near-instant recovery, so there is no overspray, no mess, and no over-wetting as well.
The configuration of the glide also lets you clean in two directions so I can clean on the forward stroke and the backward stroke.

Easily cleans at angles other tools struggle to reach because of this nice swivel that's built-in and that extra flexible hose, so I can get into a lot of places I wouldn't be able to with an external jet.

The vacuum relief here on the bottom allows you to reduce the amount of suction being applied, so this is for more delicate fabrics.

The tool itself is built onto this 15-foot solution hose, vacuum hose assembly. It comes with the cuff links, it comes with the heat guards, and at the very end, there's a ball valve with a built-in strainer filter to protect the life of your tool.

All in all, this is the total package for an impressive, thorough detailing or an upholstery job.
