Thermo-Kool TK3C-2 Details
Cool foods quickly and safely with the Thermo-Kool TK3C-2 11 pan reach-in commercial blast chiller! This blast chiller has three independent cavities, allowing the operator to only open one section at a time, preventing cold air from escaping and keeping the unit functioning efficiently. Designed to prevent surface freezing and preserve the nutritional value of your foods, this blast chiller features unique microcontroller technology per section that monitors and controls internal temperatures while operating in fully automatic or manual mode. Because it uses both an air and food probe in each cavity, the controls are able to accurately detect product temperatures, allowing the unit to blast chill up to 133 lb. of product from 165 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit within two hours, or shock freeze up to 95 lb. of product from 165 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit within four hours total. The controllers come equipped with a RS232 serial output that can be connected to a printer or PC device for complete HACCP documentation purposes.
The unit comes preprogrammed with four standard cycles: soft chill, hard chill, shock freeze, and evaporator defrost, which immediately gives you a simple yet diverse set of options upon delivery! For maximum temperature retention, the CFC-free polyurethane insulated cabinet and doors keep products at food safe temperatures. The spacious interior accepts up to (11) 2 1/2" deep full size food pans, while a total of five stainless steel wire shelves optimize internal organization. This not only gives you the flexibility needed to accommodate a wide range of product but also, along with the stainless steel construction, makes cleaning incredibly simple. The 22,400 BTU compressor runs on environmentally-friendly R-404A refrigerant. This unit requires a 208V electrical connection for operation.
