We use these for a rather untraditional purpose- we stick our steamer pans inside them when serving foods that don’t require temperature control. It camouflages the less than slightly aluminum nicely, but still adds a nice natural element to the table.

This is an elegant looking woven basket. I have the one is beige also, but the black one is lovelier. I'm sure it will make a good flatware tray, but i'm using mine as a pen and key tray on the coffee table. It's the perfect size.
