This enclosed chafer base will add an elegant touch to your catering or buffet operation, and, since it's fully enclosed, it's totally windproof! An additional benefit of its fully enclosed design is that it will keep your food much warmer because there's less heat loss, especially during outdoor events.

This windguard chafing dish frame comes with a durable, powder-coated silver vein finish, and is designed to hold any standard, full size (20 3/4"L x 12 3/4"W) water pan and food pan or a configuration of smaller size pans.

    These are great looking and done great job blocking wind. I also use them for indoor events and get a ton of compliments. I do have one gripe, my 4in deep pans I use to put water in sometimes fall through. And the pans that came with the chafers sits right on the lit sterno. Other then this they are worth it.

    If you do a buffet outside you have to have these. They are well worth the extra few dollars. They are sturdy and do exactly what they are designed to do.

    We get lots of compliments on these chafing dish frames and they work really well outdoors but also look great indoors. The only potential downfall is that sometimes they do such a good job of keeping the flame from blowing that the product in the chafer has gotten too hot! Overall great product.

    I purchased these specifically for outdoor events in the winter months. In the past I would have to wrap foil around traditional chafers to keep wind/cold out :( These work super outdoors and look great.

    Winner. Good looking, stack-able, wind proof. A little heavy when lugging them to an event but worth it since they are easy to clean and relatively compact. Built in sterno holders make life even easier.
