High Weight Capacity

Each shelf accommodates up to 300 lb. of weight, making it ideal for storing bulk heavy supplies. The high weight capacity helps the shelf accommodate business growth as storage needs evolve and product inventory expands. When mounted on casters, the total weight capacity is 500 lb.

Steelton shelving is designed to work with many popular brands of shelving, including Metro Super Erecta and Advance Tabco. However, it's important to note that each type of component must be from the same brand, due to minor variations in size between brands.

For example, you can use Metro Super Erecta shelves with Steelton posts, but all of the shelves must be Metro and all of the posts must be Steelton. However, you cannot use a few Advance Tabco shelves and a few Steelton shelves on the same set of posts at the same time, or two Metro posts and two Steelton posts on the same shelving unit.

    This review is not a reflection of the product’s quality, as it meets my expectations for the price paid. However, I am disappointed that the product description was somewhat misleading. Upon closer inspection of the fine print, I realized that the actual dimensions are noticeably smaller than the stated 14" x 24", which significantly impacts my intended use for the shelf. Given the cost, the additional 30% restocking fee plus return shipping makes a return impractical. I am giving this a three-star rating due to the lack of clarity in the product description, which led to an unsatisfactory first shopping experience with Webstaurant.
