Sioux Chief 663-07812SS Details
This Sioux Chief foam pipe insulation is a great addition to plumbing and HVAC systems. It is designed to reduce condensation and heat loss in hot or cold water distribution lines. It is made of closed-cell polyethylene foam with a 1/2" thick wall. This foam is non-porous and fiber-free to reduce moisture ingress and resist mold growth. It offers better rigidity, tensile strength, and tear resistance, and it is chemical- and ozone-resistant. Plus, it has a very low water permeability.
This pipe insulation reduces noise, condensation, and heat loss, and it helps conserve energy. It is made without CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, PBDEs, and it is completely recyclable. It has a low VOC, and it is non-particulating, formaldehyde-free, and it does not emit odors. Plus, it has a 25/50 flame / smoke rating (ASTM E84) and meets MVSS302 standards.
This efficient pipe insulation provides long-lasting protection in adverse conditions as opposed to rubber foam.
