Sioux Chief 523-1620 Details
Enhance your installation process with this Sioux Chief PowerBar bracket system! This system is designed to support stub outs, shower valve / shower tree assemblies, and water supply lines throughout rough-in phases of installation. It provides a convenient and affordable alternative to cutting wood blocks and using metal studs. This bracket is constructed of high-quality, 20 gauge galvanized steel for corrosion resistance and superior durability and support. It adjusts telescopically from 9" to 16" to fit between stud bays or joist cavities.
This bracket has 1/8" pilot holes on three sides of the bracket to easily fasten on clamps and fittings, while the dual fastening tabs on each end firmly secure the bracket to the stud. It comes pre-loaded with 2 TouchDown clamps to secure and support tubes, pipes, and plastic or steel conduit. These clamps are UV-resistant, and they have an elastomer base insert to reduce noise.
This bracketing system is compatible with copper, PEX, and CPVC, and it is IAPMO certified. It requires 4 screws (sold separately) to fasten the bracket in all four tabs. It can hold up to 90 lb. at a 9" bracket span, up to 82 lb. at a 12" bracket span, and up to 66 lb. at a 15" bracket span.
