The SILPAT AES420295-22 is the Macaroon design sibling of the regular SILPAT half size silicon baking mat and just as high quality as its more boring plain design sibling. SILPAT really is the best silicone baking mat one can buy. The build quality is just noticeably more heavy duty than all its competitors. This macaroon version of the regular SILPAT has nice even spacer marking which are great for their intended purpose of macaroons of other similar sized cookies. SILPAT's may be twice the price of the other silicone baking mats but they feel like twice the thickness and durability. This Macaroon version is a couple bucks more than the plain but its worth it if only to differentiate and diversify your silicone baking mat collection.
