Beautiful tabletop, but it was not perfect. There are some imperfections in the surface (wavy area, a surface dent, odd coloring) and along the rough edges (variable staining.) One corner is damaged. The packaging didn't look as compromised as the actual hardwood tabletop is.
This is a very sturdy table top. We purchased 2 steel frame legs online and the table is solid as a rock. I had been searching for an 8' video production desktop for a long time and everything I saw had legs that got in the way of the ppl sitting there. Because of the reinforced underside I was able to place the table legs as far out as 1" away from the edge without any flex. The coating is durable and classy. It's not the 3" deep lacquer style you see in some bars etc. I am now thinking of other applications for this type of table top. Definitely worth the money. Thank you.
