Many people here seem to have had issues installing, but I got them in no problem. They are meant to be very tight in order to support the torque, so you have to mount your pole/rod with a clamp or vice (etc) and hammer in with a metal hammer (not a rubber one like I read someone else did). I was very hesitant to order these based on some of the reviews, but after getting them and installing I found that those 2 star reviews were likely operator errors rather then the part not fitting. Works great, you just need to be a bit handy with tools.
