RectorSeal 25431 Details

Lubricate and protect your pipe threads with the Rectorseal 25431 16 oz. no. 5 pipe thread sealant. Compatible with pipes made of iron, brass, copper, stainless steel, and much more, this sealant is incredibly versatile and an absolute must for pipe repair or new installation. It is suitable for pipe carrying select oils, gases, chemicals, and even steam. It also is approved for use on pipe carrying both hot and hold potable water.

This sealant will lubricate pipe threads so that there is less friction to allow for tighter joint makeup. This also permits easy break out without causing any damage to the threads. It is free of lead or any other metals and can hold up to immediate pressurization on pipes as large as 2" at up to 100 PSI. A soft-setting, slow-drying formula is simple to work with and only a small amount is necessary, making it an economical choice. The sealant can be brushed on in temperatures from 20 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
