Raw Sunflower Seeds 50 lb.

I received these in Aug 2020. They are from Bulgaria and were rancid! I was so disappointed because of the great reviews and especially because one said they came from Idaho. We have worked with seeds from Bulgaria before and found the quality inconsistent. Customer Service was great and gave us store credit; but I wish I could order them again knowing they are the USA grown ones. Perhaps Webstaurant Store could do something about this. Until then, I will buy elsewhere.

I purchase these every single month. I use for everything from salads, muffins, and breads. And the wild birds go nuts over these.

This product used to be excellent, sourced from Europe. Then it appears suppliers changed, and now what you receive can come from any variety of sources. Product information documents are contradictory, as one say origin is USA, and other states origin: Bulgaria, Holland, Romania, Slovakia, China, USA, Canada. The last I received was USA product, which had very large clumps of hardened product, some as large as 9 inches in diameter. While Webstaurant customer service was good in trying to investigate and replace the defective product (birds and squirrels wouldn't even eat it), the supplier was less than forthcoming. After weeks of contact, they finally gave a vague response saying it was related to their disinfection process, without providing details. Wish Webstaurant Store could separate the USA product with the mystery clumps into a separate SKU from the Bulgaria product, which I purchased for years without incident. That would allow customers to be able to purchase a consistent quality of product, instead of being surprised with each order.

You can't beat the price and we haven't had any quality issues with these. We use them in some of our chickpea salads, as well as in our seeded breads and crackers.

This is by far the best deal around. I bought this for backyard birding and for my squirrels. Good quality whole hearts, not many chips which is great.

I have looked around all over for an inexpensive sunflower seed and I have come to find that these fit the bill. While 50lbs might seem like allot I would have to say due to the quality we are having more customers using them in our salad bar and have gotten many compliments for having them on it. A great product at an even better price

These are high quality sunflower seeds, and they are the lowest priced ones, too ( that I could find ). I feel sorry for my delivery person, because 50 pounds is pretty hefty & she's over here on a weekly basis ( she did get a nice Xmas present from me, however . I highly recommend these seeds, glad I was able to find this store.

Ordered these to feed birds at my bird feeders... they love it so much that they are going at the rate of approx 2lbs every day!!

I LOVE these sunflower seeds. Price is right and the quality is awesome. I am one happy baker. I use them as morning yogurt toppings. They work wonderfully well to make homemade sunflower flour for baking. I have learned a trick to eliminate the signature green color from baking with sunflower seed flour. They stand in a far more economical alternative to almond flour for nut-free dieters.

These seeds are so delicious and good and come in a great quantity for a great and reasonable price. Highly recommend this deal to all who would like to save money and have there food supplies last longer.

The price for this size bag is extremely affordable. The kernels are large and always fresh. We use these in salads and on our avocado toast.

Quality and from Idaho - what's not to love?! Other suppliers have shipped bags direct from other countries, so it was a bonus to see these are from the states. These will be a definite regular purchase for us.

We used to buy all of our nuts from another Supplier until we realized Webstaurant carried a lot of them. Great value, would recommend buying!

The large 50 pound box of sunflower seeds are great for making our energy bars. The seeds are meaty and delicious. They are great roasted as well.
