This Skillet is SMALL, not too small, and its described in the product description, but I think you should pull out a tape measure and see how big 3 1/2" is before you order it. That said, it's great. It makes a nice presentation piece. I'm not sure I'd do too much cooking in it...it's a bit small for that. I only gave it four stars because the seasoning is only okay, but if it's just used for presentation that shouldn't matter! (and I'm sure it could be re-seasoned with a little effort)

This is my first cast iron skillet and it has been. Great experience. I used it first to make dessert and plan to make a mini frittata and egg over easy going forward. I like this little pan since I can portion control so easily. It’s also a good starter to the cast iron cooking family.
