This is another Monin syrup that exceeded my expectations. In the past I have used the Italian syrups (To***i). These are as good, if not better. The flavor is authentic and does not taste chemical at all. The syrup is sweet (of course); however, the flavor is on par which means that 1 tsp is surely enough to flavor a cappuccino adequately without being overpowering.
This is a true hazelnut flavor. The normal Monin Hazelnut is more of a candied fake hazelnut flavor, great for iced coffee. But this one is a true hazelnut flavor, and we really like it in a hot latte, but also if you put banana syrup with it you can make a banana nut bread flavor.
